Dana Perino is a Fox News Contributor and co-host of one of the most popular shows on cable television, The Five. She was the first Republican woman to serve as the White House Press Secretary. She served for over seven years in the administration of George W. Bush, including at the Department of Justice after the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Perino worked as a journalist, on Capitol Hill, and in public relations in San Diego, California, prior to joining the The White House. One of her most unique jobs was being a country music dee-jay from 2 -6 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays during college in Pueblo, Colorado. She earned a masters degree in Public Affairs Reporting at the University of Illinois-Springfield in 1995. Perino met her husband, Peter McMahon, on an airplane in 1997 and she moved to England and married him within a year.
